How to solve the Widget Dilemma for Android Apps installed on SD
App storage is a problem if you own an Android Device from last year. I'm a proud owner of a Google Nexus One and it serves me well - except that I have to "move to SD" most of the Apps because they have gotten bigger and bigger over the years. What you lose by doing so is one of the biggest advantages of the Android Platform - the widgets.
Evernote seems to be aware of that problem and has solved it by releasing a Widget App - which is just 145k big. Installing both apps (with the main App on SD) has a smaller footprint than keeping just the main app on the phone and you have all the functionality.
Great idea (even though I've seen other widgets apps already) to solve a problem more and more users are facing. I would like to see more app developer have this kind of approach.
